Pinpoint sight promo (Singapore)

The Nerf Pinpoint Sight would have to be one of the most sought after attachments; it looks absolutely trick and actually does a pretty decent job. (for the record it, along with the AT and Spectre's fold out stock is my personal kit out out choice) Unfortunately it's been unavailable for quite some time other than the occasional appearance on eBay for RIDICULOUS amounts of coin, so I was pleasantly surprised to browse the Nerf SG forums to the see this promo available for a FREE PINPOINT SIGHT with the purchase of 40 dollars or more of the new Light Up series.

So far I haven't seen any sighting of this promo in Australia, so it may be a Singapore exclusive unless someone else out there can confirm otherwise?

And from our friends at  SGNerf  an image of Nerf point of sale material with the promo ad:

Pinpoint sight worth $12.90? eBay sellers of the world cringe:P
One can hope it suggests the Pinpoint sight will be floating around a lil longer... :D

  4. The cheapest pinpoint I've been able to find here in the states involved me buying it off of the mexico eBay for $35 shipped. about 1/3 the cost of the stuff normally on eBay.

  7. I have one of these. It works but it's really impractical because the sight is so much higher than the barrel. If you look and shoot straight at a target at 10 feet it's usally 1 ft below your point of aim.

  8. I have one of these at well, like 4 years ago.

  9. YA! Check your spelling smart one. Its spelled America, not "AMURRIKAH".
U.S.A! U.S.A! My cousin has a pinpoint sight and I REALLY want one. Oh, and to the guy who said its "inacurate", just aim lower genius. DUUUHHHH!

    1. not to make you sound like an idiot but if it hits lower than your target you have to aim higher.

  16. Pretty amusing that you could put a real red dot sight on your blaster for half the cost of a plastic one...

    1. Very good point... I'm not sure if the tac rails are compatible between Nerf and airsoft/real guns though.

  17. Ahh real red dots range from $250 to $2000

  19. I found the exact same box earlier last year in mid december. I remember I saved a pic of it too.

    It can be seen here.

  20. Why doesn't someone just call the number on the box..?

  21. Man, I can't believe I didn't buy up more of these things when they were lining the shelves at $10.99 (these and the larger tactical scope, which I still love on my Recon). I remember I even got a couple of them for free once at Toys R Us, because they were running a "Buy a Nerf Blaster, Get Free Ammo" special, and the girl at checkout considered the Pinpoint Mission Kit to be an ammo pack since it came with 10 darts and range them up as free.

I've definitely learned my lesson in the world of Nerf ... if you see it and you want it, buy it! Because there are no guarantees it will be around next week.

  22. Boycott Nerf Wiki, everything they put up is either plagiarized or fake. They keep on copying and pasting from everyone in the nerf community as well as writing reviews on guns they have never even seen.. They still claim the lumitron and Praxis have slam fire... I urge everyone to go to there site and help me "purge" this relatively good site of all its trash.

    1. I wouldn't say everything there is fake, there are several inaccuracies like that they claim the Ballzooka MP150 was part of the Airjet Power theme, but it is a decent site for references. There are some good people who run it, and I don't really think you should boycott them. My website is rather close to Nerf Wiki, mine is Nerf Blaster Wiki, and we run things slightly differently, but hey, nobody's perfect. I just prefer to run things my own way rather than go with someone else's format.

  23. Hasbro/Nerf would be stupid _not_ to re-release the pinpoint site in some form or another. Especially if they released it in the various colour schemes the blasters have come out in.

i.e.; A Sonic Series Mission Kit with 10 green Sonic darts and a Sonic themed sight. Imagine how many collectors would get them in multiple colours to match their multiple blasters.
